Protocol Signed For Tourism Advisory Council
The Ministry of Culture and Tourism came together with nine professional associations representing the tourism industry and established the Tourism advisory council (TİK). The protocol realising TİK was signed at the Lütfi Kırdar Convention and Exhibition Center with the ceremony held on April 27, 2018 under the leadership of Minister Numan Kurtulmuş.
At the signing ceremony where our President A. Zeki Apalı also took place,the heads of the sector-oriented institutions came together such as Turkish Turkish Agencies Association (TÜRSAB), Turkish Hoteliers Federation (TUROFED), Turkish Tourism Investors Association (TTYD), Turkish Airlines (THY), Turkish Hoteliers Association (TÜROB), the Association of Turkish Private Sector Aviation Operators (TÖSHİD), Marine Tourism Association (DTB), Tourism Restaurant Investors and Businessmen Association (TURYİD).
The Minister of Culture and Tourism made a speech at the ceremony held Prof. Dr. Numan Kurtulmuş said that they hosted a historic meeting. Stating that Tourism Advisory Council is an important platform for Turkish tourism Minister Kurtulmuş, "Tourism Advisory Council, is a platform of institutions which came together that take on responsibility for Turkish tourism. With this platform, the problems will be determined and solutions will be determined. a platform that will produce projects for the strategic development of tourism in Turkey. After their conversation, the necessary protocol for the formation of the Tourism Advisory Council was signed by representatives of the nine institutions and organizations that are leading the sector for the sustainable development and steady growth of tourism sector, leading the creation of a tourism master plan, to strengthen the brand 'Turkey', domestic and international promotion, to carry out marketing activities together, to create policies that will make the tourism economy an efficient sector and focused on such goals such as to increase the contribution of tourism to the country's economy, regional development, increase total refund contribution.
